Job Requirements/Education/Special Skills and/or Training:
BS Degree in relevant field of study. Strongly prefer an individual with previous experience in elections with a strong working knowledge of the election process at the federal, state, and local level. Experience in IT and programming/electronics is an essential requirement. Candidate must have proven and effective public speaking abilities as well as the knowledge and ability to effectively and successfully conduct content-specific training classes. Successful candidates must be proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Office, PowerPoint, and Adobe. Examples of proficiency are required. Must possess excellent communication skills both in person and over the phone. GIS knowledge/experience is preferred. Must be able to read and decipher maps and spreadsheets. Must have the ability to adapt to an extremely busy environment. Must possess the drive and ability to successfully handle several tasks simultaneously without distraction. Must be highly detail oriented. Successful candidate must have the flexibility to work irregular hours if necessary including nights and weekends.
