Description: The Employment Coordinator is responsible for the comprehensive management of on and off campus recruitment activities including the following: serving as liaison between on-campus departments and student workers, posting available positions on the departments' online job board, hosting employer informational sessions, and assisting in the coordination of campus-wide career related events. This position engages in extensive communication between external and internal constituencies ensuring all employment and internship opportunities and recruitment events (both on and off campus) are advertised and marketed to all students/faculty/staff and alumni.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor of Science in a related field required. At least two years experience working in a related field, and/or human resources. Must have strong skills in providing excellent customer service and demonstrate strong ethics. A valid driver's license and safe driving history are required.
Preferred Requirements: Prior experience working within a higher educational setting.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: High levels of interpersonal, problem solving, organizational and public relations skills are essential for successful performance in this position. Duties will be performed under tight deadlines, and require accuracy in executing operational tasks--ensuring excellent customer services for faculty, staff, students/alumni and employers.
