Lions & Tigers & Leopards, Oh My!

Come have a roaring good time at The Museum as we open our summer exhibit Wild About Cats with a reception on Thursday, May 30, from 5:30-7:00 pm at The Museum at 106 Main Street in Greenwood. The exhibit will be on display throughout the summer. Admission to The Museum is free.

Wild About Cats will premiere at our Museum before it takes its permanent home at the Virginia Museum of Natural History. You will see lions, tigers, cheetahs, and leopards as well as our native cougars, bobcats and lynx. The animals are presented in simulations of their natural habitats. See how high a cougar can jump – experience how fast each species can run – compare our pet cats to the big wild cats – and more!

For more information, call The Museum at 864-229-7093. We look forward to having a roaring good time with you!
